Pop-minded singer-songwriter Sean Nicholas Savage started writing solo records in Montreal in 2008, his songs ranging from lo-fi melodic folk ballads to more upbeat synth-based avant-pop. Savage's influence has apparently been so widespread within some corners of the underground music world that earlier this year, his peers released a Sean Nicholas Savage covers record titled Taste Of Savage. To date, Savage has released at least nine full-length recordings, and his next Other Life is out May 28th via Arbutus Records.
