Earlier this year, Gold Panda announced Half Of Where You Live, his sophomore full-length album along with its first track "Brazil." While his commitment to making electronic music with tranquil vibes remains in tact, he's pushing his own boundaries with his new material. It's particularly evident on this new track "We Work Nights," which marries steady synths with reposeful guitar riffs, the disparity of which starts off slightly jarring but is eventually coaxed into discordant bliss.
