Watch Queens Of The Stone’s Live On Letterman Webcast
Last night, Queens Of The Stone Age became the latest band to participate in the Late Show With David Letterman’s Live On Letterman concert series, playing an entire hour-long show in Letterman’s studio and webcasting the result. Josh Homme didn’t bring any of the big-name guests from the band’s new album …Like Clockwork, but his band still played like raging beasts regardless. Also, Homme’s trench-coat game is out of control. During their set, the band stuck almost entirely to new songs, only trotting out “Little Sister” as an encore. And on the Letterman show itself, they also vroomed through “My God Is The Sun,” with accompanying macabre cartoons projected behind them. Watch both the on-air performance and the Live On Letterman set below.
