Watch Elvis Costello And Mumford & Sons Cover Springsteen’s “The Ghost Of Tom Joad”
When the Sasquatch Festival came to Washington State last month, nu-grass superstars Mumford & Sons — who, fuck you guys, are OK — were headliners, and Elvis Costello was also on the bill. And the anti-poverty initiative Agit8 brought both acts together to film a cover of Bruce Springsteen’s “The Ghost Of Thom Joad,” giving the song a soft and mythic reading and throwing a bit of Woody Guthrie’s “Do Re Mi” in there as well. Watch the performance below.

Shout out to whoever thought to take advantage of the Sasquatch-area scenery; this thing looks great.
