Lana Del Rey has tweeted details regarding a forthcoming short film, Tropico. “TROPICO – a 30 minute film coming to a city near your,” she wrote. “Premier dates coming soon. Lots of Love, Lana Del Rey.” The film will star Lana as well as model Shaun Ross. “A tale of redemption told to the music of Body Electric, Gods and Monsters, and Bel Air,” reads an image she also tweeted. The film was co-produced by Rick Rubin and directed by Anthony Mandler, who also directed the video for “Ride.” I don’t know about you, but when I saw the video for “Ride,” I was wishing it could last 20 minutes longer.
