London producer Jon Hopkins and Purity Ring have an active creative relationship. Last month, Hopkins remixed the electronic duo’s Shrines track “Amenamy” and he also has a production credit on “Saltkin” from the album. Here, Purity Ring singer Megan James returns the favor, providing vocals for “Breathe This Air” from Hopkins’ June-released album Immunity. Hopkins and the band will keep it going at the end of this month, performing two shows together at Los Angeles’ Honda Theatre on 8/27-28, where 175 limited edition 12″s of this song will given out for free on a first come, first serve basis.
