There's not much I can say about Carcass's forthcoming Surgical Steel that wasn't included in our epic-length Premature Evaluation of the record or in our July installment of the Black Market, in which Carcass claimed the top spot on our roundup of the month in metal. I love the new album; it's one of the year's best. The band dropped lead single "Captive Bolt Pistol" last month, and now, they've made available a second song, "The Master Butcher's Apron." I think it's great, and you should of course listen.
