If you read our August edition of the Black Market you might remember seeing Windhand in the No. 1 spot. With good reason, too -- their new album, Soma, is absolutely crushing. From the opening sludgy riffs of "Orchard," to the epic 30+ minute closer "Boleskin," it's one of the best metal albums of the year. The band stopped by St. Vitus in Brooklyn last Friday to play to a packed, sold-out crowd, and we sent our photographer BJ Enright to capture the whole night.
