Last year, the blurry-eyed Brooklyn duo Flatbush Zombies elbowed their way into the Tumblr-rap consciousness by making a whole lot of great videos and by releasing their D.R.U.G.S. mixtape, which earned Mixtape Of The Week honors last summer. Last night, they followed it up by releasing their new Better Off Dead mixtape, which only has two guest rappers: Action Bronson and Danny Brown. When those guys are the only two guests on a mixtape, that mixtape is automatically worth a listen, even if the guys who made it didn’t represent the freakiest, most stoned wing of the internet rap underground.
