In early August, Scott & Charlene’s Wedding — created and fronted by Aussie Craig Dermody — released their second full-length LP, Any Port In A Storm. Dermody released a few tracks from the album before its release, including, “Fakin’ NYC,” “Lesbian Wife,” and “Wild Heart.” But most recently, Scott & Charlene’s Wedding premiered a music video for “Jackie Boy,” which shows Dermody running through the streets and training for some unexplained fight. While the music of Scott & Charlene’s Wedding could be simply classified as scratchy garage rock, it’s Dermody’s switching between drowsy vocals and sing-shouting the chorus that distinguishes him from other noisy indie rockers.
