The British dance producer Julio Bashmore was one of the people behind the music of Jessie Ware's great 2012 debut album Devotion, and now Ware has returned the favor, playing dance diva on Bashmore's new single "Peppermint." It's a joyous and propulsive piece of old-school house music, but something about its design screams this exact moment. Listen to it below.
