Cold Beat – “Worms”
Grass Widow have always maintained an uncompromisingly art-first ethos about music, releasing finely-crafted records brimming with ideas and inspirations. So it’s unsurprising that members of the Bay Area trio make compelling art individually as well. Earlier this year, drummer Lilian Maring released a debut LP as Ruby Pins; now, singer/bassist Hannah Lew (who is also a visual artist and filmmaker) is releasing music with her band Cold Beat. Below, stream one cut from a forthcoming EP, “Worms,” which is the first release on Lew’s new label, Crime On The Moon. In case you missed it, check out our Turntable Interview with Lew from last year as well.
The Worms b/w Year 5772 EP is out 11/05 via Crime On The Moon.
