Last year the people involved with the original CBGBs held a music festival and this year it’s coming back again in less than two weeks. The group has organized a free concert in Times Square on 10/12 featuring My Morning Jacket, Grizzly Bear, Divine Fits, the Wallflowers, a James Murphy DJ set, and more. It’s not just that one day though; the festival is curating hundreds of events (concerts, films, and panels) 10/8-10/13 in NYC.
