“Hold On, We’re Going Home,” the endlessly pillowy, Majid Jordan-assisted New Wave jam that carried Drake to Top 40 success, yielded one awesomely ridiculous music video and placed highly on our absurdly large Drake songs countdown, now has a Maybach Music Group remix featuring a verse from Rick Ross in pole position. And I gotta tell ya, those M-M-M-M-M-M-Maybach Music tags and Rozay’s autopilot mic maneuvers aren’t exactly fixing a song that wasn’t broken to begin with. Wishing they would have left well enough alone with this one, but hopefully radio will stick with the tried-and-true original. Maybe you’ll respond to Bawse’s bars more positively; find out below.
