Watch Pusha T Play NPR’s CMJ Showcase
Despite consistently (incessantly?) rapping about hardcore drug-dealing and the criminal lifestyle that accompanies it, Pusha T has been widely embraced by the high-minded NPR set at least since Clipse’s critical darling 2006 LP Hell Hath No Fury. So it only makes sense that he appeared at NPR’s CMJ showcase last night to celebrate his grimy new solo album My Name Is My Name, performing a set built mostly from solo material and his prominent Kanye collabs. Watch video of the full performance at NPR.
My Name Is My Name is out now via G.O.O.D. Music/Def Jam.
