Botany is Spencer Stephenson, a Texan producer of ornately proggy soundscapes; we posted his track "Agave" three long years ago. He's got a new album called Lava Diviner (Truestory) coming later this month, but in advance of that album, he's shared a warmly zoned-out non-album track called "Laughtrack." The song features blissfully stoned vocals from Father John Misty, the shambling lounge-lizard alter-ego of the former Fleet Foxes drummer J. Tillman, and you can download it below.
