Watch King Krule Play Letterman
Last night, Late Show With David Letterman bandleader Paul Shaffer paid tribute to Lou Reed (you can hear a bit of “Walk On The Wild Side” in the video below). And it makes sense that the night’s musical guest was another gnarled, mercurial sing-speaker with a thousand-yard stare and a preference for skronky guitar tunings. King Krule made his American TV debut on the show, playing the beat-poet bugout “Easy Easy” and generally failing to impress Letterman. (“Very well-dressed, don’t ya think? Dressed up for the show!”) Watch the performance below.
King Krule’s debut album 6 Feet Beneath The Moon is out now on True Panther/XL.
