The Los Angeles radio station KROQ, one of the few alt-rock stations that’s found a way to survive and even thrive into 2013, has announced the lineup of its annual “Almost Acoustic” holiday shows, which come to the Shrine Auditorium 12/7-8, and both nights are so packed with indie rock heavy hitters that they could practically make up the first three or four lines on the Coachella poster. The first of the two nights has Kings Of Leon, Vampire Weekend, Queens Of The Stone Age, Arctic Monkeys, reactivated goth-punk greats AFI, Foals, Cage The Elephant, and a few others.
