After The Smoke, the project of multimedia artist Rob Coin, is releasing a mixtape called Mircowaves next month, and from the look and sound of Coin's new "Wallstreet" video, it's gonna be rad. In the past, as on last year's "Typical Weekend," Coin has focused on singing, but "Wallstreet" is straight dusty grooves hip-hop that ought to appeal to fans of Endtroducing..... DJ Shadow. It's propulsive yet floaty, smooth yet grimy, direct yet deeply textured. You'd do well to watch it below.
