Download Okkervil River’s ’80s Covers EP Golden Opportunities 3

Every so often, the Texan rock band Okkervil River records a new EP of covers and releases it, for free, upon the public. The series is called Golden Opportunities, and the last installment, dedicated to vaguely obscure singer-songwriters, came out in 2011. Now there's a third EP in the series, and it, too, has a unifying theme: The '80s! On the new Golden Opportunities 3, the band takes on five Reagan-era radio staples from Wang Chung, Don Henley, Roseanne Cash, and George Benson, as well as a Brains song that Cyndi Lauper made famous.
