A Sunny Day In Glasglow – “In Love With Useless (The Timeless Geometry In The Tradition Of Passing)”
Can you believe we haven’t heard anything by A Sunny Day In Glasgow since 2010? That’s a long time for most bands to take a break, but out of nowhere the dream-pop act has returned with a new song. “In Love With Useless” breathes new life into the group, and marks a new start. The potent shoegaze melodies they’re known for are still present, but as just one facet of the song’s various change-ups. Another is found in the brittle, sampled vocal hook with an almost abrasive sound quality that adds some needed ugliness. A very nice surprise. Listen below.
A Sunny Day In Glasgow will put out a new record later this year.
