David Brewis is a member of the twitchy British indie-pop group Field Music, but when that band took a bit of a break a few years ago, he took on the name School Of Language and went solo on the 2008 album Sea From Shore. Field Music haven't been too busy since their 2012 album Plumb, and now Brewis has reactivated School Of Language, readying a sophomore album called Old Fears. "Between The Suburbs," the first single, is a blippy, nervous piece of synthetic falsetto-funk, and it's streaming below.
