Two months ago, the U.K. psych-rock quartet Temples released "Mesmerise," the breathlessly melodic lead single from their album Sun Structures, and we called it one of the best songs of the week. (As previously noted, Tame Impala fans ought to proceed in this general direction.) Now "Mesmerise" has an animated video by director Benjael Halfmaderholz that matches the song's colorful character and mystique. It tells a weird, wild story that begins with an airborne glowing pyramid entering an ancient maze in the desert, and you can watch it below.
