The new benefit album BOATS raises money for low-caste children in India, and every artist on it uses samples from the Light Of Love Children’s Choir. We’ve already posted the tracks from Four Tet, YACHT, Bear In Heaven, and Keepaway, and today, we get to hear the punningly titled “Upside Dawn,” the first new song in a while from the spacey, cosmopolitan, generally awesome New York band Gang Gang Dance. The track sprawls over nearly seven minutes and builds a prettily hazy groove that ripples and evolves without ever bursting its way out of the background. Listen below.
