Bonnaroo has announced the date for when they’ll announce their lineup. If that sounds excessive to you, just wait a moment, because the day of the reveal may actually deserve that announcement of its own. February 19th, preceding the 9PM moment when we find out who will be heading down to Manchester, TN to play the 13th annual festival, we’ll get a super jam which has been a sort of tradition during one late night slot at the fest. The major guests of the performance are the Flaming Lips and Ben Folds, but they’ll be joined by special guests and you’ll get to see some past fests’ cover songs performed Dave Matthews, Tenacious D, Kings Of Leon, Phish, fun., the Lumineers, Jack Johnson, My Morning Jacket, J. Cole, and more. The whole thing’s hosted by Taran Killam and Hannibal Burress and will be available to watch on Bonnaroo’s website and at a handful of record stores throughout the country (list below).
