Watch Josh Homme Throw An Overexcited QOTSA Fan Offstage
Truly, this is a golden era of musicians fighting fans onstage, and of videos of said fights appearing on the internet. Earlier this week, we got Action Bronson duffing out a security guard in Portland. And on Tuesday night, it was Queens Of The Stone Age frontman Josh Homme getting in on the action in St. Petersburg, Florida. One fan jumped onstage and attempted to hug Homme (or something) while Homme was playing piano on “The Vampyre Of Time And Memory,” and Homme responded by picking the guy up by the scruff of his neck and hurling him off the stage, Uncle Phil-style. Words of wisdom from Homme: “You can stand right there, dude. I don’t know what you’re trying to do. You’re lucky I didn’t fuck you up, bro. I’m here to play for you, not jerk you off, you fucking douchebag.” Watch the action unfold below; it starts around the 1:19 mark of the fan-made video.

Always impressive when the band doesn’t stop playing during one of these dustups.
