Back in December we heard "Comfortable Life," our first taste of Flagland's upcoming album Love Hard. It was a song about opposites and dynamics, beginning as a tender whisper before bursting into a noisy and heavy screamer. That shift nicely represents the album as a whole, which ranges from funny to upsetting to pretty to dissonant -- often in the span of a single song. Over 20 disparate tracks Flagland paint a colorful picture, and if you've only heard the singles (which also include "Sugarcube" and "It's Your Time") that's really only the surface.
