Pussy Riot Attacked By Cossacks In Sochi
Russian punk art-collective Pussy Riot were attacked by Cossack militiamen with whips during an attempt to perform under a Sochi Olympics sign on Wednesday.
According to a CBS report of the event, six members — five women, one man — donning Pussy Riot’s signature ski masks were whipped by Cossack militia. During the attack in Sochi, the ski masks were violently ripped off the women’s heads. The male member said he was pushed to ground, leaving the scene with blood on his face. Police arrived to the scene and questioned witnesses. None of the members were arrested. The Telegraph posted video of the incident, which you can watch below.
