Two titans of dramatic, emotional instrumental music come together in the new project Inventions: Matthew Cooper, better known as Eluvium, and Explosions In The Sky guitarist Mark T. Smith. We’ve already posted “Entity,” an early track from their forthcoming self-titled debut. Now, following that, we get “Peaceable Child,” seven and a half minutes of placid, thoughtful piano tones and warped guitar phrases. Listen to it below.
