Watch Bombay Bicycle Club Cover Disclosure’s “F For You”
With their new album So Long, See You Tomorrow, London’s Bombay Bicycle Club have gone from being the sort of band that clogs up the middle zones of British festival bills to a fascinatingly limber cosmopolitan pop group, and they’ve scored their first UK #1 album in the process. And on a recent visit to BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge, the other BBC crammed in a small army of musicians to take on the Mary J. Blige version of Disclosure’s “F For You.” In the process, they transformed a brittle house-pop anthem into a loose, rubbery, Afro-funk-inflected jam. Watch it below.
