After taking a few years off, Mark Oliver Everett’s long-running band Eels came back full force last year with Wonderful, Glorious, and now he’s got another new one coming out soon. But while that album featured a bigger sound with songs like “Brave Little Soldier,” this one, titled The Cautionary Tales Of Mark Oliver Everett, already seems far more introspective and gentler. For evidence of that, see the regret filled first single, “Agatha Chang,” and this new one, titled “Mistakes Of My Youth,” which has a similarly sad and nostalgic tone. Listen to it below.
