Jay Z & Kanye West Will Play Samsung’s SXSW Show
Three years ago, Kanye West closed out SXSW with a late-night G.O.O.D. Music showcase at a converted power station. At the end of the show, Kanye brought out Jay Z for a quick set of collaborative songs. Not long after, they announced their collaborative Watch The Throne album. And now it’s time for an encore. Tomorrow night, Mashable reports that Jay and Kanye will headline a Samsung show together at an undisclosed location. (Brazos Hall seems like a likely spot; right now, its bill features Kanye buddies Pusha T, Big Sean, King Louie, and CyHi Da Prince.) To get tickets to the show, you’ll have to have a Samsung smartphone and its Milk Music radio-streaming app, then show up to pick up a wristband at a Samsung pop-up at Trinity and 2nd tomorrow at 10AM.
