Young Widows – “King Sol”
Last month, Young Widows’ released “Kerosene Girl,” the first single off their upcoming third album, Easy Pain, and instantly one of the year’s best songs. (It was included in that week’s 5 Best Songs, and actually topped the list in February’s Black Market.) The Louisville trio just dropped another Easy Pain track, “King Sol,” which kicks off with the same ridiculous heat as “Kerosene Girl,” but decelerates to a slow, ominous grind. It’s intense. Listen.
