Deleted Scenes – “House Of Dust”
Last month we premiered “You Get To Say Whatever You Want,” a ticking time bomb of a rock ‘n’ roll ballad by DC experimental pop outfit Deleted Scenes. Now, with the arrival of new album Lithium Burn rapidly approaching, they’ve unveiled a song that stretches out that quiet-to-loud dynamic to epic proportions. “House Of Dust” begins as a moody drift marked by blasts of low-end crunch, righteously straightforward guitar theatrics, and gentle falsetto. By the time its six minutes are completed, the song has unfolded into a full-on rock onslaught. Listen and enjoy below.
