Watch Bruce Springsteen Cover Van Halen’s “Jump” At NCAA Music Festival
Bruce Springsteen performed at the March Madness Music Festival in Dallas earlier tonight. After taking the stage with the E Street Band (which currently includes Tom Morello) he asked, “This has something to do with basketball, am I right?” He was right, which is good because he was holding a basketball. Then, with a guitar tech dressed as the referee, Springsteen and Nils Lofgren did a jump ball before the band launched into a cover of Van Halen’s “Jump.” Watch the whole scene below.
Check out the Springsteen archives to watch the Boss’ recent covers of Lorde, INXS, and AC/DC. Springsteen will induct the E Street Band into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame on Thursday.
If you wanna revise Springsteen song titles to be about basketball, that could be a fun thing to do in the comments.
