Raekwon – “The Living Room”
It’s hard to say what’s going on with Raekwon right now. He doesn’t seem all that excited about either of the Wu-Tang Clan albums that are supposedly on the way. And while he’s got verses on two of this year’s best rap albums — Schoolboy Q’s Oxymoron and Freddie Gibbs and Madlib’s Piñata, there’s been no sign of Fly International Luxurious Art, the solo album he’s supposedly got coming out. But when Rae feels like it, he can rap. That’s what he does on the new track “The Living Room,” in which an apparently bored Rae just tears through a series of soul-sampling beats for the hell of it. Listen below.
Fly International Luxurious Art might be coming out this year. Or not. Who knows.
