Photos: Queens Of The Stone Age @ Keller Auditorium, Portland 4/15/14
Queens Of The Stone Age put on a killer live show — in fact, we just listed them as one of the best parts of Coachella last week. Last night Josh Homme and company stopped by the Keller Auditorium in Portland to play a massive 20-plus-song setlist, touching on many tracks from their recent album Like Clockwork — and including a surprise guest: former QOTSA bassist Nick Oliveri, who joined the band on stage for the first time since being fired 10 years ago. The show opened with Moistboyz, once the side project of Dean Ween, but in light of Ween’s breakup and the shedding of his stage name, now the main project of Mickey Melchiondo; Oliveri currently serves as its touring bassist. We sent our photographer Colin McLaughlin to capture the performance. Check out the gallery above and watch a fan-filmed video of Oliveri once again performing live with Queens Of The Stone Age below.
