Recently, power-pop superfriends Aimee Mann and Ted Leo teamed up to form a duo called the Both, and they released their self-titled debut album. Last night, they showed up on TV together for the first time, performing their catchy-as-all-hell single "Milwaukee" on The Tonight Show. A Ted Leo guitar solo is, as ever, a life-affirming thing to witness. And Mann is clearly drinking from the same fountain of youth that Pharrell is. She is 53! She does not look no damn 53.
