Pioneering is a new A.V. Club video series in which newer artists cover legends in those legends' hometown; they've already recruited Sharon Van Etten to pay tribute to Bruce Springsteen. In the most recent installment, the great Grand Rapids, Michigan post-hardcore band La Dispute have taken on Nirvana, covering "Polly" at La Corazon in Seattle and turning the song into a lurching, angular thing.
