Oakland duo Friendzone first made their name by producing songs for A$AP Rocky, Mykki Blanco, and Main Attractionz. Besides some scattered Soundcloud uploads, their last significant release was last year's full-length DX. Their new song "Needs5" is a fantastic lesson in how to make spacey production interesting again, complete with a hypnotic sample and a persistent piano line. Listen below.
