Stream Klaxons Love Frequency, Watch Their “3D Printed Tour” Promo
UK psych-ravers Klaxons’ third album (and their first since 2010’s Surfing The Void) is out next week. We’ve already heard a few singles, and now you can stream the whole thing online courtesy of The Guardian. Listen below.
The band has also jokingly announced “The World’s First 3D Printed Tour” via a goofy new video. According to band member James Righton, “traditional instruments have been around ages now, and it’s time to use some new technology.” Jeffrey Royce, the managing director of the seemingly fictional company SJA 3D Printing, confirms, “We’ll be printing everything for the tour, the guitars, the microphones, the amps, the bass, even the lights.” Also according to Royce, “We’re really excited to have this commission, because it means that we’ll be printing something that people will actually use, rather than just printing something to prove that we can 3D print it.” Sure. Love Frequency is out 6/16 on Akashic Rekords/Sony Red.
