This week, the Swedish sister act First Aid Kit released their album Stay Gold, a bright interpretation of Americana from two gifted outsiders. And last night, they were on the Late Show With David Letterman, performing their shimmering, ethereal single “My Silver Lining,” with a full band and a string quartet backing them up.
