The Treasure Island Festival, a two-day event hosted every October on an island near San Francisco, has announced its 2014 lineup. OutKast and Massive Attack will each headline a night, and the lineup is heavy with festival mainstays including Zedd, Alt-J, TV On The Radio, Janelle Monaé, Washed Out, and Banks. The recently reconvened New Pornographers will perform, as will White Denim, Polica, MØ, Jungle, St. Lucia, Ryan Hemsworth and more. Note: This is not to be confused with San Francisco’s other big music festival, Outside Lands, which goes down in August at a different venue (or Neil Young’s annual Bridge School Benefit, or BottleRock in nearby Napa Valley, or First City in nearby Monterey; man, NorCal has no shortage of music festivals).
