Though Kevin Morby has performed in the Babies and Woods, it was a pleasure to hear him branch out on his own with last year’s Harlem River, providing a dreamy, romantic take on the folk rock he’s played for years. Later this summer Morby will release a 7″ single for the new song “My Name.” The track is just Morby and his guitar, but as his music has frequently proven, he doesn’t really need more than that to hold you at rapt attention.
