AUTOBAHN hail from the Leeds scene that brought us Eagulls, and like that band, this one plays bruising post-punk with a fury few bands can muster. They're tapping into that old pigfuck spirit similarly to wild out the way METZ does. "Unhinged," an appropriately titled onslaught from the quintet's second EP -- the also-appropriately-titled 2. -- rides a rapidly inclining riff that tends to carry my blood pressure upwards along with it. The feedback is swirling, the howls are guttural, and every beat hits like a Hulk smash. Listen below.
