The New York rapper DVS is better at Twitter than any other rapper, and better at it than most of us who aren't rappers, too. I think I followed him for at least a few months before I even realized he was a rapper. But he's also a beast of a rapper, a fast-talking reference-slinging spitfire and a fixture on the more creative edges of New York's internet-underground scene. He's working on his full-length DVTV now, but before that arrives, he's compiled a whole bunch of tracks he's appeared on (some previously available, some not) into a new tape called Mutant League. The tape features a ton of NY rappers -- Kool A.D., Lakutis, Big Baby Gandhi, Mr. Motherfuckin' eXquire, Kitty, Meyhem Lauren, others -- and it opens with a Ric Flair sample. And even if it's not a proper cohesive mixtape, it's more fun than plenty of things that are. Check it out below.
