Watch Weezer Bring “Back To The Shack” To The Tonight Show
Weezer’s new album Everything Will Be Alright In The End looms ever closer, and earlier this week, the band debuted its first single: the big, chunky back-to-basics statement “Back To The Shack.” The denizens of our comments section put some serious time into figuring out whether this was a good song or what, and the results may still be inconclusive. And last night, the band took the song to late-night TV for the first time, performing it for Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show and getting a boisterous “that’s the way to do it, brotha!” for their troubles. (At this point, I’m just waiting for Fallon to hate a performance, gravely shaking his head and muttering, “That’s not the way to do it, brotha.”) Weezer also get bonus points for keeping an Ace Frehley bobblehead prominently displayed on an amp. Watch their performance below.
Everything Will Be Alright In The End is out 9/30 on Republic.
