Remy Ma Released From Prison, Releases DJ Khaled Collab
Bronx rapper Remy Ma has been released from prison after serving six years out of an eight-year sentence. She was convicted of intentional assault in 2008 after shooting one of her entourage members over some stolen money. Ma, who was part of rap crew Terror Squad, announced her release on Instagram and later confirmed it with Revolt. NYC rapper Papoose, Ma’s husband who she married while still in prison, said, “Congratulations to the #Queen happy 2c you walk out that cage!!!!!!!!!! Time 2 begin a new chapter It’s your time.” Last night Ma hit the studio to hop on a remix of DJ Khaled’s “They Don’t Love You No More.” Hear that and check out some pictures from Remy’s first day back below.
