Nick Zammuto is getting ready to release his new album, Anchor. He’s already dropped the singles “Great Equator” and “Hegemony,” and now he’s giving us “IO.” The music here hews closely to Zammuto’s strengths: heavy percussion, strange electronics, unique sound effects … but they all form the foundation to one of the wildest and most rock-oriented vocal performances he’s ever delivered.
