Passion Pit frontman Michael Angelakos has been open about his mental illness before. He even won an award last year for increasing awareness and putting a positive face on his experiences with bipolar disorder. Angelakos took to Twitter to criticize Henry Rollins for his controversial editorial about suicide. (Rollins recently apologized for his words.) "Yes, @henryrollins, you made it all so clear for the rest of us. Thanks for sharing your thoughts, especially while the family is grieving," the singer said. Read his full series of tweets below. He also mentions that Passion Pit is almost done with their third album.

Just want to clear up the tweet regarding if one is experiencing suicidal ideation. There is no quick fix. First talk, then explore options.

Also, while I'm on here I might as well give an update. LP3 is close to completion. More specific updates to come.
